Wind Energy Sector
Wind turbines use blades to collect the wind’s kinetic energy. Wind flows over the blades creating lift (similar to the effect on airplane wings), which causes the blades to turn. The blades are connected to a drive shaft that turns an electric generator, which produces the electricity.
More than %50 of Somalia has wind speeds greater than 6 meters per second, which are excellent for electric energy production. DELTEC Renewables can provide all types of wind turbines from the residential range to the power plant range with high professional engineers.

The technology for generation of electricity from these biomass materials is similar to the conventional coal-based thermal power generation. The biomass is burnt in boilers to generate steam, which drives a turbo alternator for generation of electricity.
